Scarface is one of the illest to ever touch a microphone. For me, Scarface is my 3rd favorite rapper of all-time right behind 2Pac and Nas. The career of Scarface have spanned over 4 decades. As part of the legendary Geto Boys, Scarface have been in the game over 30 years. Throughout the years, you can count on some of your favorite rappers to say Scarface influenced them. On this day 25 years ago, Scarface dropped one of the best rap albums ever. The Diary was the third album from Scarface and it has been praised by countless artists and hip hop publications over the years. The Diary is one of those albums that you can listen from the beginning to end without skipping a track. I Seen a Man Die was the first single from the album and it’s a certified classic.

I Seen a Man Die is classic storytelling from Scarface. The video is also amazing, which you can check out above. The actual single didn’t get released until after the album dropped. The Diary eventually went platinum off the strength of I Seen a Man Die. During the first part of the following year, Scarface released his second and final single. For this one, Scarface teamed up with Ice Cube to bring you another classic. Hand of the Dead Body is the name and the video was another dope one from Scarface. The song was about how the government and media always targeting hip hop. Check out the video below for Hand of the Dead Body featuring Ice Cube. Like I’ve mentioned, this is a classic and one of my favorite Scarface albums. Check out the track listing below and it’s followed by the stream links.
